ITINERARY BY DAY
Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival
Upon arrival, you are welcomed by our tour guide and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Your dinner will be arranged at the hotel (your own account). Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Siem Reap (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle.
Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters.
Early evening, you will be taken by Tuk Tuk, a small open-sided taxi common in Cambodia, to cruise around the suburb of Siem Reap town and for a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey
Your lunch will be arranged at the local resturant. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 3: Transfer to Homestay
In the morning you transfer to the village, driving about 20km past green rice fields, and picturesque small villages. When you arrive at the village, your guide will introduce you to the family, and you can have a look around the village. There is a welcome lunch with the family in the afternoon. Then ride in an oxcart to the fields where you will have experience with the first day of work. After a day in the fields, you return home and have a shower Cambodian style. Around 6:30pm you will have dinner together with the family.
At night you can relax and chat with the family, and teach English to the children if you like. There will also be a lot of neighbors come by to talk to you after they have finished their days work.

Day 4: Farm Activity (B/L/D)
It will be an early breakfast in the morning before going by oxcart to the fields to plant rice and vegetables or other field work. Today you will enjoy cooking class with local people in the village. You may also look after the cattle, ducks, chickens or pigs. It will be a full day’s work. At night, after dinner, you can go to visit our neighbors or teach English. You may also have a party with local rice wine. Overnight with the host homestay family. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.
Day 5: Tonle Sap floating village – homestay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we head south of Siem Reap to visit the floating village of Tonle Sap Lake. You will see many floating houses on the surface of the lake. There is also a floating school, restaurants, Catholic Church, and more…. After visiting the floating village, we will transfer to the homestay village which is approx. a 20km drive. After introducing you to your host family, you visit the neighbors, and go out to the fields. In the evening you will have dinner with the homestay family, and have a party with local rice wine. You can also watch TV, or you can teach English words to the kids.
Day 6: Return to Siem Reap – fly to Hanoi
After breakfast, we say goodbye your host family. We will be transfer back to Siem Reap. Collect your luggage and transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. The rest of day is free at leisure to discovery Hanoi Old Quarter on your own.
Day 7: Hanoi – Nghia Lo
Our tour guide and driver will pick up you at your hotel in Hanoi at 8.00 AM departing for a fascinating 5 day trip. Leaving behind the bustling Hanoi city, you will enjoy viewing the pleasant countryside scenes along the way to Yen Bai province. Arrive to Nghia Lo town early in the afternoon, you check into a friendly homestay at a peaceful village nearby the town. Enjoy a home cook lunch and have a short rest. In the afternoon, get your cycle to discover the beautiful villages of the ethnic minority groups, visiting rice fields. You enjoy the home hosted dinner and overnight at the homestay.
Day 8: Nghia Lo – Tu Le – Mu Cang Chai
Having breakfast at homestay, then say farewell to the host, we depart to Tu Le town. Tu Le is a small town located at the beautiful valley in the foot of Khau Pha Pass. Here you will enjoy a soft trek visiting to the beautiful rice field and some villages, taking stunning pictures and meeting friendly local people. You then have a lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you enjoy a drive to the famous Khau Pha Pass which is one of 4 best pass in the North well-known for picturesque terraced paddies. You then have a few more stops en route for taking stunning pictures on the way to Mu Cang Chai. Arrive in Mu Cang Chai town later in the afternoon, say hello the friendly home host and have a short rest. Then you enjoy a walking tour visit the village of Thai ethnic minority at the foot of the nearby mountain. Have dinner and overnight at the homestay.
Day 9: Mu Cang Chai – Sapa
8:00 Am After having breakfast you check out and traveling to Sapa. Driving out of Mu Cang Chai, you will stop en route to visit the stunning village of Lu people. Have lunch at a local restaurant on the way heading to Sapa. Arrive to Sapa by 5:30 Pm. Check into a boutique hotel in Sapa downtown. There are plenty of the good restaurants in Sapa for your choice. Enjoy your dinner on your own cost and explore Sapa night market.
Day 10: Sapa trekking – homestay
At 9:30 the trek starts in the center of Sapa. We will walk towards the new market on the edge of the town. From there we hike up the hill for some spectacular views of Sapa. We keep walking through the incredible rocky landscape surrounding Sa Seng village. Sa Seng is a small Hmong farming village located on the edge of the hill. After Sa Seng village we have lunch and a well-deserved short break. After lunch we continue our trek in the direction of Hang Da village. This part of the trek will be the most rewarding with some breathtaking views of Muong Hoa valley. On the way you can stop at one of the small roadside shops and try some sugar cane. Continue to trek downhill through the woods towards Cau La Chuoi village. Cau La Chuoi village is a small Hmong farmers community and the home of Sue’s parents, this is where you will spend the night. You can relax a bit and meet Sue’s parents before it is time to make dinner. Learn about daily village life for the Hmong while enjoying your homestay. Sue will teach you how to make spring rolls and a delicious home-cooked meal will be prepared. During dinner try drinking some rice wine with your host.
The next morning trekking starts at 8 AM. First however it is time for breakfast to give you the strength for another long day of trekking. The trek will start downhill to Muong Hoa valley and Lao Chai village. We will walk past grazing buffalos and through a beautiful small bamboo forest before reaching Lao Chai. We will then walk through the Hmong village of Lao Chai towards Ta Van where we will have a small lunch.
Then we transfer back to Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi departure
Free at leisure until time to transfer to the airport for your departure flight
